It was SO GREAT to see all of you in class today! Thank you so much for coming, and for all of your kind words – I could not believe you clapped when I came in – I’m still tearing up thinking about that. You are amazing.
As I mentioned at the beginning of class today, I decided that our time might be best spent today just talking about the course, having milk and cookies, and having a chance to talk in person a little bit.
Turns out today’s lecture on Valve Disease and Cardiomyopathy only contains 14 slides, and those slides are covered in one of the videos I posted for last week’s lectures (video 3, minutes 33-56).
So there are two videos posted for today on our lectures page:
- A lecture video covering today’s slides.
- A classroom video recording of today’s classroom time. (For some reason, there was an issue with the audio today – the mic was super loud, so I moved it away from my face – but that resulted in very poor sound quality in the recording. Will get that fixed for Wednesday.)
Some of you asked if I could post the recipe for the cookies I brought today – here it is! I love this recipe because it makes cookies that stay soft and chewy. I think it works best with room temperature rather than melted butter though.
Finally, a couple photos of Billie Eilish tonight at the Met Gala. Such an amazing move on Anna Wintour’s part to make Billie and Amanda Gorman co-chairs of the event. UGHH life is good.
